Super Shadows: illustrations that explore the power of children’s imagination by Jason Ratliff

Art director and visual artist Jason Ratliff has created a clever series of illustrations titled Super Shadows to celebrate the power of children’s imagination and show how this is so important to people’s personality formation.

The image isn’t necessarily about the superhero. It’s about a child’s imagination and potential. It’s about how a kid can be anything they want to be. The guy in the cape just helps represent those aspirations. The hero they see themselves as, or one day being. Whatever kind or hero that may be.
