This account is our core effort to help you get noticed without all the time, money and effort of traditional promotions. If you are serious about your work but just don't have the time or money for traditional promotion - this is the best deal around! It's simple You Create - We Promote!
The account is free and allows you to get started for nothing. You get your own 5 piece gallery to get started and then any additional listing /art uploads are only .39 each. Credits come in small packages of 10 listings or more so it's always very cost effective. This allows anyone to get started for nothing graduate up at their own pace for very little. It's the best value of its kind.

Visual Flood allows anyone with a Seller Account to upload photos, digital versions of paintings, drawings, and any other art you can scan or photograph. After uploading artwork, a seller can specify the output formats it will be available in and when a buyer purchases that item, the seller gets paid based on our competitive payment scale.

How do I get paid? / Explain Artist's Commissions
Print Commissions
All print commissions are based on a simple cost-plus index. Using the base price as a benchmark, you set your own prices. You are free to price your work at whatever level you like, but not below the base price. The base price covers the processing cost for expediting your order to a happy client.
When an order is placed for your work, Visual Flood takes care of the order processing, printing and shipping for you. Once the cost of that processing is covered (base price), the remaining profit belongs to you. So you want to price your work with this in mind. You want to also carefully consider what you believe the market will pay for your work.
To help out, we have included an average retail pricing guide to give you an idea what a buyer might pay for an average piece of art based on that size. Since Art is very subjective we do not want you to rely on that average retail as a means of judging what your art is worth. It is simply a one dimensional look at average pricing based on print size.
For instance, if the base price is $30 and the average retail is $43, you may consider these things and then set your pricing for $65. If the work sells at that price, your profit is $35. Everything above base price is your commission. The better your work, the more people are willing to pay. If the work doesn't sell after a given time, you may want to consider lowering closer to the average price - it's entirely up to you.

When it comes to selling your originals which are already in your possession, we believe it is simply more efficient for all to leave the details of shipping and financial transactions in your capable hands.
We do not share or enforce pricing guidelines; nor do we seek to profit from these transactions. Our aim is to give you and the buyer the best environment to find each other.
Whether the buyer sees your art, your profile or links to your website, we are happy to offer the site for networking in these areas.
Downloadable Art & Stock Commissions
Premium Account Sellers 50 /50 split (unlimited free listings)
Advantage - it costs you nothing to upload more listings - You set the sale price and split the sale 50/50 with Visual Flood.
Pro Account Sellers pay .39 per listing but receive 100% of the sale price whatever they have listed it.
Advantage you receive the entire sale amount. So if you price and sell it at $10, you keep the entire $10.
Visual Flood holds no exclusives on your work - you may sell your work on Visual Flood and any other art site you like without disadvantage.
You are responsible to set your own price. We've included an average price indicator to help you know how other sellers are currently pricing their work. Use good judgment for best results and let's keep the site competitive and good for the buyers!
Contract Your Services locally, regionally, nationally
Our goal is to provide you the artist with every possible opportunity to display your work, while providing potential clients every possible opportunity to reach you to form a working relationship. The entire site allows buyers to search for an artist by their work, but the locate tab is set up to help them locate artists, by scrolling, by state, and by keyword (user name). Once a buyer locates you, they have the easy option to connect with you through the request work link directly underneath your avatar or profile image. The feature allows buyers in your own region or community to support you as a local artist, or someone who may reside at a good distance and would never otherwise reach you can now contact you for work. We want you to have every opportunity possible to increase your exposure to the buying public.

At Visual Flood we have created an environment where you can come to one place and promote your work across multiple platforms. Your work can be presented to the buying public in multiple venues including a variety of Print options, digital downloads, original art, limited editions, and handmade items. The buying public will see your work, what you have to say about it (the story behind your art), and can learn about you through your artist bio. If you have your own website, you can help increase your traffic, by posting and linking it to your bio page. We are promoting the site heavily this year and expect a lot of traffic. Our chief aim is to help gain you that needed exposure which increases your income potential. Bottom line... The site is designed to work for you and eliminate the stresses of promotion and production so you can concentrate on what you love most - creating!

To that end, we have set up an environment that allows you a host of promotional vehicles aimed directly at gaining the eye of the buying public. These days most of us have our own web presence often on beautifully designed websites. But even with a gorgeous website, the power lies not in the aesthetic, but in its ability to reach and market to a large audience - that gets expensive. We can help drive additional traffic to your existing site (if you have one) through our bio link page. As the site grabs the audience's attention through your art, it leads them directly to your bio page where they can then link directly to your personal website. Your bio is like a headline which allows you to express your thoughts and basic identity while leading anyone interested in more about you, directly to your personal site. The Result - New Friends and Clients!

As a visual flood artist, you have full access to our Freelance job system giving you the ability to connect with potential new clients, everyday, without effort! How it works: From your bio page click on the Freelance link where you will access all customer requests for commission and freelance work, currently needed. Review those requests as often as like. Check for new request and updates daily from potential clients needing paid creative work. Decide if it's something that fits your scope and communicate your interest back to the client. Downloadable art is available for you to print yourself or used as stock for marketing purposes. We offer high quality downloadable images that you may purchase one at a time without having to buy credits. At Visual Flood you buy only what you need, when you need, at great prices as always!

Yes! Now from your artist profile you can view your top ten most popular images.
You can see which images are getting the most hits in order, view the amount of hits, when those are occurring by day and time. This was created to help you manage your selling efforts by knowing which of your images are having the most success.
What are Listing Credits?
Listing credits are units of value that allow Pro Account members to add more artwork gradually and cost effectively. Currently the cost is .39 per listing (single credit). You may buy as many listing credits as you wish at any time, but no fewer than 10. For instance you can buy 10, or any number higher like 11 or 12 or whatever you decide.
